Oscar adopted us 8 years ago at a water park in The Colony which was closed for the day for a dog only event. I was working at a pet sitting booth and someone was there with him that day to "dump him off" with someone because he was "a despicable dog that she couldn't deal with anymore'. Oscar parked his butt right next to me and refused to move and the next thing I know I'm bringing home a pug with me. It really was love at first sight for both of us. We bonded almost instantly and he never left my side since until yesterday. Oscar suffered a stroke about 2 years ago and had been slowly declining since then. On Thanksgiving he had another episode and unfortunately he was not able to bounce back from this one. He leaves behind his "sister" Carrie who I adopted from DFW Pug Rescue a year after he adopted me to be his companion. He will be truly missed by all of us. In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to DFW Pug Rescue in his honor if you wish to do so! Thank you!
