Cookie was a gift from my sister when my husband and got our first home. She was sassy, spunky, and sweet all rolled into one! She was my confidante, my silent encourager, and ever faithful companion. We took some road trips, went to a wedding, stayed at hotels, went for walks, and shared many great days together. Cookie would lick my tears away when I was sad. She loved to give kisses to anyone that would let her!! Cookie had Congestive Heart Failure, which worsened over the past couple of days. I never expected that she would pass away this soon, though. She was the best little snuggle partner and I will never forget her. She loved peaches, apples, cucumbers, boiled chicken, and strawberries. Every time I would eat a cucumber, she would always get at least half of it. I miss her little footsteps, her sassy little bark, and her quiet little snore when she was sleeping. I loved seeing her curled up in a ball - just relaxing. I loved the days when I was home and didn't have to work. I loved seeing her jump up and down with excitement when I would come home from a trip.. I miss going for walks and seeing her fetch her ball, which she dearly loved - and her squeaky bone toy!! There is a hole in my heart. I loved this baby as much as any person.
