Mopsy Horner was a beloved member of her loving family, and she was the emotional support animal of Kristi Horner, mother of a special needs family. Mopsy was a Holland Lop Rabbit, and she was as sweet as could be. She absolutely adored cuddles and loved getting attention, especially when it involved treats. Her favorite foods were raisins, bananas, bell peppers, carrots, sunflower seeds, and biscuits. She loved to jump and play, and her favorite toy was a cat yarn ball, which she would push around her play pen and through her tunnel. She also loved to throw her stacking cups, especially when there were treats hidden inside. Most of all, Mopsy loved her humans. Whenever anyone would pass by her cage; she would get very excited and try to catch their attention so she would get pets. She would squeak and grunt whenever she was happy, and she would stand on her hind legs whenever the top hatch to her cage was open to give kisses as she was getting her veggies or water. Mopsy is going to be remembered forever by her family, including her 6 year old ‘little girl’ Jaelyn, 15 year old Phoebe, almost 11 year old Brenden, and her favorite human of all, her mommy Kristi Horner. Mopsy encountered GI Stasis, a disease that is practically incurable in small animals. After an attempt to save her, her family had to humanely put her down on Monday, May 30th of 2022. Mopsy will live on forever in our hearts. Fly high my sweet angel Mopsy, we will love you always.
