You could not help but fall in love with Max because of his sweet spirit and unstoppable happy mood. He will be missed so much by our family for the many years shared in our home after being rescued from a shelter at three years old.
Max was a gentle giant who often caught people's attention with his German Shepherd looks, but had the kindest heart. He loved snuggling at your feet as you watched T.V. and would look up at you when he wanted to be petted. As the fluffiest in the house, he loved getting brushed and could sit for hours for grooming, but was never a fan of bath time.
There was no hiding of snacks in the house, since Max had the best nose around, which would start sniffing with any exciting smells. He was a lover of treats, peanut butter, and cheese. We will miss him sitting in front of us at mealtime, slowly inching closer to get attention.
Max was a quiet soul, playful, and comforting every day. If you needed support, Max would always be there at your side, looking at you with kind eyes. We will miss our summertime road trips and beachside adventures.
He loved his family and his brother, Milo, deeply. We will never forget the sweetest boy who blessed us with his incomparable devotion to our family.
On the morning of May 12th, Max passed at home. We are thankful that he is no longer in pain and now reunited with his brother, Toby. We love you, Max.
