Our little "Lulubelle" passed away peacefully on April 13, 2020. Just shy of 13 yrs old, she was a sweet, snuggly, bossy, prissy flirt who loved men. (ha!) She was our "Lucy Gambino" mob boss to the "big dogs" in our family. Lucy had her own agenda and did things when SHE wanted to. She loved it when Mom would "wrap her up like a burrito" and carry her around swaddled like a baby. She was a territorial little monkey who loved to be in your lap. She also loved blankets, treats, going on walks, and digging in the dirt, She was a smartie, too. When she was a puppy, Mom & Dad taught her to ring a bell by the door when she needed to go potty. Except she would also ring it and then run to the treat jar or to the out-of-reach toys. She would "speak" for treats, but also expected (demanded?) a treat ANY time SHE decided to speak.
Lucy was our little bossy busy-body. We loved our little "crazy lady", and our house just seems so much emptier without her in it. We will miss you, Miss Lulu.
