HOUDINI
December 2006- Jan 18, 2020
Today is a very sad day for our family as our beloved Houdini crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He has forever left his little paw prints all over our hearts with unconditional love and filled our minds with beautiful memories.
One memory being when we found Houdini on the street of where we lived. As I was putting up posters of a found dog on the mail boxes he kept escaping from the backyard hence he was named Houdini. A stray dog that nobody ever claimed, that became our treasured family member. with the begging of my daughter.
Houdini was my protector made sure that nobody came near the bed when I was napping or take the TV remote from my hand if I dozed off watching TV.
Then there was the time we drove to Michigan to visit my Mom and her dog Bo. On the last day of our visit and packing up the car Houdini escaped from the house. He ran straight for the car (luckily the door was opened) jumped up on the ledge of the back window. Houdini made sure that he was leaving with his family.
Houdini, we always loved you unconditionally as you did for us. Our hearts are heavy with grief but relieved that you will no longer be suffering. Thank you for being our best friend.
