Milo was adopted from the Carrollton Animal Shelter 5 years ago at the ripe age of 12-14 years. He had a great life with us.
He was a frequent "Armpit Surprise" sneaking into the chair behind John and putting his head under his armpit to get to the plate on the table. Couldn't leave anything edible on the table with Milo around!
He loved drinking water from the corner of the shower...we could watch his little belly grow as he lapped up the water while John was in the shower.
He loved helping John clean the back yard, he would get so excited as soon as the bag came out!
Spring and Fall allergies kept his skin itchy but John would scratch until Milo got enough.
He growled at the big dogs and chased our Rikki - 50 lbs of pure muscle - Milo was the boss.
He LOVED going on walks and would bark incessantly until it was his turn.
He always slept in the bed with us. He would lay right under John & look up at him if he rolled over - as much to say "hey quit moving around!".
What a great mouser! He knew when there was one in the house & would let us know...he could sniff out the tiniest piece of food under anything!
He became ill in October but thanks to some great care he bounced back & made our lives so rich with your presence for those last few months.
He laid in bed wrapped in my t-shirt all day and I knew his time was near. John got home from work and loved on him...20 minutes later he crossed over.
We loved you so much little one! Until we meet again!
